Running / Race Recaps

I didn’t run in high school, or in university. I didn’t do anything active, because it didn’t interest me. When I ran my first 10K race in 2009, I didn’t have a great big revelation or dreams to become faster or stronger. I just wanted to chase that feeling of accomplishment again…. and again.

I don’t have any natural talent, and I don’t have aspirations to place in races or win any records. I just want to continue progressing at whatever rate makes sense for me. I want to keep running for as long as my body lets me.

Race progression…

This is a super tough distance for me. I tried to concentrate on it in early 2014 to improve my times, but I found it really (mentally) tough.
