I’ve been busy in the kitchen…playing with other people’s recipes. Here are some winners that I’ve loved so much that I just had to share.
I couldn’t believe how amazing this tasted. I didn’t have all of the ingredients on hand so I subbed in half a mashed banana instead of the greek yogurt or apple sauce, omitted the sugar, and used dark chocolate almond milk (it was on sale and I couldn’t resist trying it!) instead. I also used 5 teaspoons of chocolate powder in an attempt to lower the dry ingredients since I didn’t add any additional liquid sweetener. Oh my goodness, this was heaven in every bite. Good thing I stocked up on peanut flour when I was at TJ’s in Chicago… looks like it’s not available anymore?
Best pancakes I’ve made at home so far.
Used one small onion thinly sliced, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 T coconut oil, 1 t dried basil. 1 c chickpea flour, 3 c water.
It was heaven. This didn’t stand a chance in my fridge – it was gone within 2 days, and I immediately made more. In fact, I think I’ll make some more tomorrow…
And I really want to try this. Like, right now. I rarely eat meat these days, but this recipe just looks too good to pass up. I’d like to finish it off with any one of her delicious cupcakes or brownies, mmkay?
